A Message from Barry P. Burke
President, CEO & National Commander
United States Army Brotherhood of Tankers (USABOT) 

It is my honor to welcome you to the United States Army Brotherhood of Tankers (USABOT), a community united by purpose, driven by history, and empowered by technology. As we launch this modern platform, we remain firmly rooted in our mission: 

USABOT is organized for the purpose of preserving and publicizing the history of the United States Army Armored Forces and other related services that are within its capabilities and resources. Related services may include, but are not limited to, collection of artifacts, living history activities, and public education. 

Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is dedicated to honoring the legacy of armored warfare through meaningful action: preserving artifacts, sharing stories, hosting reenactments, and educating the public. We celebrate the men and women who served in armored units across every generation from World War II to today’s modern battlefields. 

With 12 active local Battalions nationwide, USABOT is more than a group – it’s a Brotherhood. These Battalions are the heart of our operations, where members gather, remember, and support one another. Whether assisting the National Guard, connecting with active-duty troops, or honoring fallen comrades, we strive to keep the camaraderie of the armored community alive. 

We are proud to support key events such as the Sullivan Best Tank Crew Competition and the Gainey Cup at Fort Moore – both celebrating the skill, discipline, and excellence of the U.S. Army’s finest armored crews. 

One of our most cherished traditions is the Annual National Homecoming, a special gathering held near historic armored units. It offers a rare opportunity for veterans, families, and supporters to reconnect with the vehicles, memories, and bonds that defined their service.
