Joined the Army at the ripe old age of 25 after a recruiter convinced me the New M-1 Abrams was in Virginia and in Holland and I would not be going to Germany. Now I am grateful I was sent directly to Germany and on the Border with the 11th ACR. Proud to be a member of USABOT since 2013 and honored to serve as National Chaplin and current Board of Directors. Best job I ever had is more than a cliché, it’s a honor to have been an Active Duty Tanker and part of the Tradition & Preservation of Armor Heritage. Four years Active Duty with 11th ACR and 1st Cavalry Division. I got saved in 1994. I then answered the call to ministry in 2005 after being a member of Gideons International for 5 years. My background started as a volunteer in the Good News Jail and Prison ministry and Gideons. Once I became a Pastor, I then became a Chaplin for the Volunteer Fire Department I was already a member of. Since then, I have also served as Chaplin for the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club of Police Officers.
