Larry Levasseur

Board of Directors

Originally from Brewer, Maine, I entered the U.S. Army in August 1982 as a 19E, (later converting to 19K), and went on to serve a distinguished career spanning more than two decades, including two tours with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Bliss and Fort Carson, service with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Fulda, and the 7th Army Training Command in Grafenwoehr. After training at Fort Knox on the M60A3 I rode the M60A1, M1, M1A, and M1A2. I served as a Master Gunner on the M1, M1A1, and M1A2 Abrams tanks and retired in 2003 at the rank of Master Sergeant 19Z. Following military retirement, I continued to serve as a Department of Defense civilian in Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, and later as a defense contractor in Afghanistan. I have also held leadership roles as the former Executive Officer of USABOT 4th Battalion and former USABOT 3rd Nation Commander (President/CEO), and I remain committed to working diligently to help the organization grow and prosper while honoring our roots, accomplishing our mission, and taking care of our members.
